Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Job Summary:
The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. This role involves monitoring maternal and fetal health, assisting with childbirth, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mother and newborn.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, identifying and responding to complications.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
